Spring Flowers

This book box is a new beginning for me. On the internet I saw an interesting way to make your own book box, and I just had to try that out for my self.

My book box is 7,5 x 8 x 3,5 cm

Here I cut the 4 sides for the box from corrugated cardboard, and tape them together with masking tape so they make a frame

To make the box I cut a piece of paper from Tim Holtz Menagerie

The paper is fitted into the frame and forms the box

The paper is glued in place with Quick Glue from Panduro

Here are the parts for the book cover

The parts are taped together with maskin tape - leaving about 2 mm between the parts for movement
For the outside and the inside is cut a suiting piece of paper from Menagerie and they are glued in place.

The box is put and glued into the cover. The front is showed on the right picture

The book box is distressed with Distress Inks, and the inside is decorated with Tim Holtz Wallflower and for the rose is used Tattered Pinecone die

Call it magic

What a nice theme, it has given a lot of thoughts and ideas about what my project should look like.
In the years I've been blogging there are many things that have changed e.g. with the stuff that now are available to buy in webshops. I like that very much.

I am very fond of Tim's new things, love love.

The band Coldplay is one of my many favorites and Magic is their brand new song - it's just lovely. So enjoy the song as much as I do.

Thank you to Alison who hosts this April Challenge at OCC.

Favourite Technique on SanDee&ameliesSPC

Dear friends and followers, here is my creation for the April challenge on SASPC

I've been looking forward to this challenge, so I can use my favorite materials. And of course you've guessed it - Gelli Plate backgrounds, stencils and Distress Inks ;-))) The journal page is 25,5 x 20 cm.

I'm a big fan of detective novels, so when I received my prize from Tando Creative, among other things, there was a mask with a footprint, and then you can probably understand my brain went to fabricate a story.

The mask can also be used for embossing because the mask is heavier than normal, so I could make a footprint on the bright Gelli Plate print to the left.
Then the story concerning "Object {D34-775}" started.......

Gelli Plate prints

Object {D34-775}

Gelli Plate and Golden Acrylic colors
Tando Creative Masks Footprints used for embossing
Distress Ink Rusty Hinge - Salty Ocean - Walnut Stain - Aged Mahogany -
Vintage Photo - Black Soot
Versafine Onyx Black - Folk Art Poetry Green
Tim Holtz Wallpaper and Wood - Nature Walk - Components Ticket stamps -
Remnant Rubs Words - Splatters - Measured Layering Stencils
Die-Versions Screwdriver die
XCut Chronology Cogs die
Marianne Design stamp
Charcoal - Trodat date stamp - White Cardboard - brads, car key and lace.

The 4 corners

I hope that you have been attracted to participate in
Looking forward to see your creation and thanks for dropping by.
