BOLD & BRIGHT

It will be exciting to participate in Andy Skinner's new challenge !!
And who would not like to win !!

I started with cardboard and covered it with white gesso, after it was dry, I gave it a layer of paste and I used my brayer to get it distributed on my cardboard and to provide structure. I came a little sand paste and crackle glaze to where I thought it needed a different structure.

And then I started to play...

I have used:
DecoArt Media black and white gesso, Modeling Paste, Texture sand paste, Crackle glaze and Matte medium.
DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics Quinacridone Gold, Cobalt teal hue, Cobalt turquoise hue and Translucent white.
DecoArt Antiquing Cream Patina green, English red oxide and medium Grey.
DecoArt Metallic Lustre Brilliant Turquoise.
DecoArt Crafter's Acrylic Christmas red, Golden brown, Citrus green and Brilliant blue.
Stampendous Nature stamp.
Stencil: Andy #04, #03 and #52

Thank you for visiting my blog.
Hugs, Susan

  2. For sure - she is captured in dimensional time by all your SCRUMPTIOUS textures and colorful yumminess Susan. This reminds me of something you would see on Dr. Who or The Librarians or Warehouse 13 (TV) - where they always seem to get capture in time!! Wow - really loved seeing your stunning artwork! j.
