Shades of Grey, Blue and Rust

Most of us know the story of The Nightingale by Hans Christian Andersen, it is old and a bit rusty;-). The adventure was nice to read to my daughter, so it was my project developed for this new challenge for June on SASPC: Shades of Grey, Blue and Rust

Tim Holtz Caged Bird - Dream die
Distress Ink Pumice Stone - Washers
PanPastel Red Iron Oxide Shade - Ultramarine Blue
Golden Acrylic - Gel Medium - Gesso - Crackle Paste
Transparent Red Iron Oxide - Grey
Aluminum plate - coffee grounds - staples - snaps
Gears Cheery Lynn die
Maya Road Chip board Crowns Mini

I hope that you have been attracted to participate in Sandee & Amelie's Steampunk Challenge and to make your own  Shades of Grey, Blue and Rust project.
Thanks for stopping by and I'm looking forward to see your creation.

  1. This is another absolute beauty - love how that delicate pastel blue sets off the fiery orange tones... and what fantastic grungy textures on the frame.

This really looks as if it has been outside for ages - worn by time, wind and rain! Brilliant!
